This week we had the great pleasure of celebrating the opening of our new photo lab and classroom space, below the existing junior art building, with a quick tour before our College meeting.

We would like to to acknowledge the hard work of Carolina Aguilera who dreamt into the space and created a beautiful architectural design, as well as Simon Gabriel who took on the job of liaising with builders, council members and tradespeople to make sure the project progressed. Simon also did some beautiful cabinetry work that we have all been admiring. The students have loved their first few days working in the space, some commenting that it is the kind of space they would like for their future homes.

As a community we have inherited an extraordinary built environment designed to nurture and support the goals of our education, with buildings and spaces that engender healthy and life-giving inner states. It is wonderful to have another such space available to work in with the students.
