The winter festival of ‘the bringing of the light’ was marked last Wednesday night by beautiful singing from the Class 7 and Eurythmy forms curling out of the darkness. The Class 6 children moved in harmony like a constellation in the cosmos, and sang with clarity as they brought forth the gift of the light to the community.

The following day they journeyed from playgroup to the Primary classrooms, the high school assembly, and finished their journey at McAdam Square to bring the light.
It is a wonderful task to bequeath these young souls with, as it marks the ending of their childhood years in the primary school and fortifies them for the next phase of development in the high school years.

It was a joy to see so many in the community take part.
