This incredible instrument has been gifted to the school for the VCE Music programme, an enormously generous donation from Eve Duncan, former VCE Music teacher, guitarist and renowned Australian composer.

It is an incredible gift to the musical life of the school and this brand new, world-class instrument, at 225cm long with high-gloss piano black lacquer, has been greeted with much excitement and anticipation.

To welcome the instrument, pianist Ben Rossi, a Year 12 VCE Music student , performed for us at Tuesday’s assembly. Ben played to a full house of secondary students and teachers, performing a keyboard work by Bach demonstrating his infallible memory, virtuosity and the full magnificence of the instrument – thank you Ben!!
