In Year 10 Textiles, students have used existing textile patterns and historical garments as a starting point in their design process and the creation of their textile projects. Through looking at a range of fabric and sewing styles, they have creatively adapted each pattern to create garments that are unique to them. New sewing and construction techniques have been introduced and the students have been challenging themselves with furthering complex construction problems and processes to solve, resulting in wonderfully creative finished garments!
