Class 3 Mudbricks!
Mud, mud, glorious mud! Each morning Class 3 have been putting on our hats and boots and racing up to the farm with much enthusiasm.
Greeted at the gate by Farmer Ben, we have been learning how to make mudbricks, and what wonderful work it has been! Each day a new job awaits us, picking, shovelling, mixing the pie with our boots and moulding our bricks.
Class 3 have worked with joy and boundless energy and marvelled at the many bricks we have made. Our bricks are now stacked drying in the sun and when dry will be carefully stored away awaiting the next phase of our building project later in the year.
We are grateful to Farmer Ben for guiding us so well in each step of the mudbrick-making magic, and also for the delicious gifts from the farm that we have enjoyed tasting after our morning’s work. What delightful abundance our farm does offer us, not only in the harvest of crops but the rich experiences we have there.
